Revival of Optimism
I am taking online seminary and I am once again faced with eschatology as a discipline ona theologian. Pessimistic eschatologies have been popular for a century, but there is am alternative theology, a theology of dominion. It was the reigning faith of the Puritans in that first century (1630-1660) when they began to sundue the wilderness of New England. It was the colloborated faith of the American Revolution. It began to fade in the rise of Darwinian evolutionary heresy in the second half of the nineteenth century. Why has it faded?

I once read that the Puritans believed in "No King, but King Jesus." That is great theology.
Perhaps, because we have fallen a long way from their dominion theology of," No King, but King Jesus."
I so agree. We must get back to the pattern of prayer and pray in this way, "Thy Kingdom Come. Thy Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven!
The pattern of prayer can be found at http://www.theultimateonlinesystem.com
